My name is Suzanne (Suzy) McHale; I was born in 1970, am female ♀ and I live in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺. This is my personal domain; a place for my interests and writings, and to leave some evidence of my otherwise-obscure existence. Quick facts about me: agnostic, creative, introverted, reclusive, shy; likes drawing, writing, reading, website development, coding and design, computers.
My Journal is the most frequently-updated section (latest entry: 7 March 2026 →). The Personal section has information about myself and my family history, and Creative work has samples of my art and writing. RuSpace is my original website about the Russian spaceflight program, from which the rest of this ultimately grew over the years; it is now archived and no longer updated. (All pages can be viewed as a list on the Site directory page.)
My website has been online since 21 September 2003! It is entirely hand-coded.

I have a backup of this site mirrored at Neocities , so be sure to bookmark that one as well. (I can’t direct my domain name to the free version of Neocities, and currently can’t afford paid hosting.)
I have various social media accounts – my main one is Facebook – but they are not my primary focus; my website is. I dislike the walled garden of social media generally (they are extremely aggravating to use), and prefer the “old-fashioned” Internet of personal, handmade websites.
